Wonton Soup Recipe - Canon T3i Video Test I shot this video with a Canon T3i. Since I am stil practicing, I figured why not film my wife cooking. She loves to cook, and as long as I am not in the way, then why not shoot it and post the recipes? (ha!) The scene uses two 1000 watt lights within the kitchen area -- but I am still trying to figure out how to use these lights best. It's hard because they're put on a stand and cannot be separated. I aimed them towards the ceiling to bounce them -- but still need practice to give off better lighting. One thing I learned is that my lens was not wide enough to shoot in the kitchen. Also, I wanted shallower depth of field -- but could only achieve 3.5 with kit lens -- so that kind of sucks. I tried to make this video a bit edgier than the other recipe vids you see on youtube with quick edits and jump cuts. Because in my opinion, recipe videos on youtube are waaaaaay too chatty and too damn long -- so I just wanted to show the basics and let people fill in the gaps. This is a review of the Saddleback Leather Medium Satchel. The bag is brand new in the video and hasn't been broken in yet. The bag will soften with use and the finish will show marks from being bumped into things from general use. Dark coffee brown will mark easily, if you prefer your bag to show minimal marks, you may want to consider the carbon black. This bag is has enough room for my D5100 D-SLR with the 24-70 2.8 attached, plus room for two more lenses on either side of the camera. A simple padded camera bag insert is used to protect the equipment.

Here are photos of the Sunpak Airbak Zoom Pack, a small camera backpack sold through various online retailers. I purchased mine through Adorama. This backpack is small in size compared with other backpacks. The color of the backpack is misleading in the stock photos, the true color is a glossy black with red and white lettering. Features: the main compartment has velcro dividers typical of camera bags, I replaced them with a Camaroo DSLR Camera - Compact III insert which fits snugly and carries my Canon 60D, 2 lenses, a speedlite. There are 2 small zippered pockets on each side and a wide but shallow zippered pouch near the bottom. There may be room to slip an iPad or small notebook in a mesh pocket inside the main compartment, but you'll risk crushing something in the process. The overall construction is sturdy, being made of heavy nylon, and the airbak shoulder padding would seem to make it comfortable to carry around for extended periods. This is a well-made backpack for a low price, with the downsides being its unfortunately a bit small and bulky, and the red Sunpak lettering calls unnecessary attention to itself as a camera bag.
